We store content you create within the Service, including:

  • Items you save (titles, descriptions, URLs, tags, personal notes)
  • Rankings and comparison history
  • Lists and list items
  • Group memberships and messages
  • Comments and social interactions (follows, favorites)

2.3 Payment Information

Payment processing is handled by Stripe and RevenueCat. We do not directly store your credit card number or bank account details. These third parties may collect billing information necessary to process transactions.

2.4 Automatically Collected Information

We may collect certain information automatically, including:

  • Device type and operating system
  • Browser type
  • Usage patterns and feature interactions
  • IP address

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Process transactions and manage subscriptions
  • Generate personalized AI recommendations based on your saved items and rankings
  • Enrich item metadata (images, descriptions) from third-party sources
  • Send SMS notifications (if you opt in via phone number)
  • Display your public profile to other users (if enabled)

4. Third-Party Services

We share data with the following categories of third-party services to operate the Service:

4.1 Infrastructure & Authentication

  • Supabase — Database hosting, user authentication, and real-time features
  • Vercel — Web hosting and deployment

4.2 Payments

  • Stripe — Subscription and payment processing
  • RevenueCat — Mobile in-app purchase management

4.3 Communications

  • Twilio — SMS messaging (only if you provide a phone number)

4.4 AI Features

  • Anthropic (Claude) — AI-powered recommendations. Your item titles, rankings, and preferences may be sent to generate suggestions. No personally identifiable information beyond item data is shared.
  • Replicate — AI image and video generation

4.5 Metadata Enrichment

To auto-fill item details (images, descriptions, ratings), we may query:

  • YouTube Data API, Spotify Web API, TMDb, OMDb (IMDb/Rotten Tomatoes), Google Books API, Google Maps Places API, PodcastIndex, Twitch Helix API, Brave Search API

Only item-level data (titles, URLs) is sent to these services — not your personal account information.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

We use browser cookies and localStorage to:

  • Maintain your authentication session
  • Store your theme preference (light/dark mode)
  • Cache profile data for performance

We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels.

6. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information:

  • To third-party service providers as described in Section 4, solely to operate the Service
  • If required by law, regulation, or legal process
  • To protect the rights, safety, or property of Favorites, our users, or the public
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (you will be notified)

7. Public Profiles

If your profile is set to discoverable, certain information is publicly visible:

  • Username, display name, avatar, and banner image
  • Ranked items (archived and watchlist items are hidden)
  • Public lists

You can control your profile visibility in your account settings.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or operational purposes (e.g., payment records).

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Export your data in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent for optional data processing (e.g., SMS)

10. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication, and access controls. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.

The Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such data, we will delete it promptly.
